O Progress Report IEN, ISSN 2447-6811, é uma publicação do Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear e apresenta resumos de trabalhos realizados pelos pesquisadores da organização.

No formato de relatório de progresso de atividades, os resumos contemplam resultados de pesquisa ou de parte considerada relevante. Não são necessariamente material inédito, podendo já ter sido divulgado na íntegra em outras publicações (sempre referenciando-as).

O intuito desta revista é divulgar o trabalho realizado no Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear em uma publicação que reúna o conjunto de realizações de seus pesquisadores e parcerias formadas.

Contando já com três publicações no formato atual (sendo as duas últimas já em plataforma online), voltadas a atingir público interno e externo, este ano a elaboração da quarta edição é feita através da plataforma OJS atualizada.

A produção do Progress Report IEN é uma parceria entre a Biblioteca do Instituto e a área de atuação de Gestão do Conhecimento em Ciências Nucleares com o apoio do Serviço de Informática.
