New method to prepare liquid Methyl Bromide labeled with 82Br

Resumo

The objective of this work was to synthesize liquid methyl bromide using methanol and sulfuric acid and a special device was built in boron silicate glass. After the synthesis, the liquid methyl bromide was transferred to a radiotracer collector and used to measure the gaseous flow rate in pipelines.
