In petroleum industry are common multiphase flows and the water component contains salt content which changes with local when occours the oil production. The salt present in water component causes incrustations in pipeline and may interfer in flow measurement. This paper presents an elaborate model by using MCNP-X simulating a narrow beam gamma source, a brine sample and a NaI(Tl) detector, to energy range to 59,45 keV e 662 keV. The elaborate model can be reproduced experimentally and used to measure of salinity in situ without interfer in medium.Referências
