Resumo

The performance of nanofiltration membrane was evaluated for treatment of radioactive waste generated in research activities at IEN.
Nanofiltration membrane SR90-440i FilmTec/Dow was used and pressure transmembrane of 1.5 MPa. The test showed selectivity of the 92% of uranium and volume reduction factor of 70%.
The CONAMA recommended that the concentration uranium of disposal must be less than 0.02 mgL-1. Additional tests will be performance to improve this process.
