Resumo

In this work, we use PROTEUS software for modeling and designing nuclear instrumentation. PROTEUS is a software platform for the design and simulation of electronic circuits, providing a range of features and tools to help engineers and designers create high quality, reliable designs. In order to test its accuracy in modelling nuclear circuits we implement in the software a charge-sensitive preamplifier Model 4019C developed by IEN Instrumentation Laboratory in the end of 20th century. The modeling response were compared with this circuit and the results of the comparisons were satisfactory. Based on the results, a new charge-sensitive preamplifier was developed using PROTEUS as a bench test and the circuit obtained is being implemented at the IEN Nuclear Instrumentation Laboratory.
