ISHIKAWA DIAGRAM IN PPE STOCK CONTROL IN HOSPITALS DURING PANDEMICS SCENARIOS

Resumo

The onset of the pandemic generated a high demand for personal protective equipment (PPE), and consequently there was a lack of materials in adequate quantity and quality. This scenario generated greater susceptibility to COVID-19 for society and health professionals. The shortage of materials led to the need to develop strategies to reduce this impact. The scenario presented the need to implement strategies to understand the scenario of scarcity and generate strategic proposals for mitigation and improvement. It is necessary to develop actions that help in the long term and that can be implemented in the strategic planning of organizations, including considering the possibility of new pandemics. This article aims to present an analysis for application of the Ishikawa Diagram in the control of PPE stock in hospitals during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
