Resumo

An important tool used in the field of applied nuclear physics is the radiation detector, including the NaI(Tl) sodium iodide detector, which needs to be calibrated so that it can be used with optimum efficiency. This report therefore presents a methodology for carrying out this calibration, obtaining the detector's response curves and modeling it to obtain the spectra of the sources used in a simulated way, with the aim of comparing them with the spectra obtained in the laboratory. Finally, it should be noted that it proved to be an excellent methodology, since the results generated were very good.
