Abstract

The Aplicação de Técnicas Nucleares group of the Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear is developing a new tool for profile analysis based on neural networks. Artificial Neural networks can be trained to recognize patterns much like the human brain does [3]. Up to our knowledge, GRS profiles are still analyzed on the eye. We expect this new tool to provide a reliable impartial analysis method. Our results will be published in a forthcoming paper.
