Abstract

The objective of this report is to propose a method for maintenance analysis of the Argonauta nuclear instrumentation system, using a socio-technical approach, and focused on existing conditions in Brazil. The specific objective of this report is to develop the availability analysis of one of the principal systems of a research reactor, the nuclear instrumentation system. In this analysis, were taken into account not only the technical aspects of the electronic modules related to the nuclear instrumentation system, but also the human and organizational factors that could affect the availability of this system. The results showed the influence of these factors on the availability of the Argonauta nuclear instrumentation system.
